Zelda's Lullaby on Guitar

"Excellent"

date: September 17, 2009

As you said, there are many versions of this song out there. But this one is far above most of the ones I've heard in the past, and yet much simpler at its core.

I really wish you'd do more with it, whether it be following the melody further or molding it with other OOT tunes or even your own continuation. But there's nothing wrong with short n sweet.

Ragnarok Online - Prontera

"It's Better!"

date: May 20, 2009

...Than the original. By far. The original just hurt my ears after a while. Especially when I sat on that sidewalk waiting to sell my GTB Card and other stuff to curious shoppers. Very well done. Shame I don't play anymore. I would of swapped this BGM in a heart beat.

I can't understand why your score is so low, let's fix that. Very well done!

Godzidra - Gusty Garden Remix

"I don't think it sucks at all..."

date: May 15, 2009

This, as far as most people maybe concerned, is a loud and messy mix. But it has something excellent hidden within, an awesome style. A bit of mastering would do it some good. (Pardon if you already did master it...) And perhaps reconsider one or two instruments to better compliment it's core.

Good stuff :)

SMRPG - Forest Maze

"Thank you :)"

date: May 14, 2009

You know, I love SMRPG. All-time favorite classic. And this is one of the best damned songs I know. But, I've heard a lot of them and a lot are also great.

But why am I thanking you? Because among them all, yours is the only one that put an awesome image into my mind. And with that thought. I will model a seen of the Forest maze in 3D with Geno :) Thank you for the inspiration!

I guess you're the author! I've had this song forever... One of my faves. The least I can do is give you a big thumbs up for making this awesome track. But I guess the fact it's all over the net (Unfortunately without due credit) is proof in itself for being awesome.

I have to check out your other stuff <3

"Pretty good remix"

date: May 13, 2009

Great mix :) I was somewhat surprised to see a mix off of Mario DDR! I like what you've done with it. It packs a little more kick than the original. But, like others have mentioned this bad boy needs some mastering to be an all-star.

I noticed you didn't mention which game the original song comes from. It's a less than popular title. And if you ask me, it could use some love as the materials have potential for some awesome mixes and Techno inspirations!

Keep it up :)

This be the first song I learned on my guitar nearly 8 years ago? House of the rising sun is awesome, and so is this mix!

Wild Plane Ride

"Pretty kool :)"

I liked the last 2 minutes the most. I feel as though 9 minutes maybe a bit long ultimately for what you've got here. It's not that it's a bad thing, but the length is certainly not the most attractive in my opinion. I noticed during "The Wild Ride" the music went from holding my attention to simply being background noise after a minute or two. It snapped my attention back in full with that awesome ending bit though.

Good stuff :D

"I really like it!"

All except for one instrument at 0:23 and 0:31. That to me seemed a bit out of place. My only complaint is that it's so short! But the decent looping spares you my wrath for being under 1 minute long.

I could of seen this being used in a few games back in the days of the good ol' N64. Or the PS2.

I'll be keeping an eye on your submissions :)

Author's Response:

Hahaha thanks--
I thought that it sounded a bit strange at first too, but after looping it several times in a game im working on for my little cousin i grew to like it so i kept it.

thanks a lot!

Marble Melancholy

"I knew it"

submission: Marble Melancholy
date: April 21, 2009

I knew I've heard this song somewhere before. Very nice mix, the feeling you gave it totally threw me off. I was like "I know this, but from where!?..."

I really like your approach to this song, I hope to see some more from you soon :)

My only knit-pick is the short factor. But, that could be the actual length of the original for all I know. Awesome :)

April 21, 2009

Author's Response:

As far i know, the original piece is as short.

Anyways, thanks for the review !
